A talk about scientific discoveries that were initially met with skepticism, such as Alfred Wegener's proposal of the theory of continental drift, Semmelweis and handwashing, Barry Marshall and Robin Warren with peptic ulcer, all the way to Quantum Mechanics and Albert Einstein's famous statement, ’God does not play dice with the universe’, and the continued expansion of the universe.
